Why I want to volunteer with LiveDifferent
Many of us have no idea what it's like to live in an impoverished community without a safe home and clean water. In November, my dad and I will be joining other families to continue the amazing work that our friend, Melissa Bazely started many years ago. When I was younger I would speak with Melissa about the builds that she organized and really wanted to be part of this fantastic cause. Now that I am older, I will finally get to experience what Melissa was so passionate about. Sadly, I will not be able to share this experience with Melissa as she lost her battle with cancer in 2021 at the age of 32. Melissa created a charity, Builders for Change; this is who I am fundraising for. I am super excited for the opportunity to spend time with the family we will build alongside while learning all about them and their community. Please donate to my campaign - anything you can give is a huge help.
