Many of us have no idea what it's like to live without a safe home and clean water. I started this fundraising campaign so that I, together with LiveDifferent, can make a difference for a family. LiveDifferent partners with local communities and families in the Dominican Republic, responsibly bringing volunteers and families together to share the experience of building a home. I am very excited to be going back to the Dominican Republic to take part in another build in the same community I was fortunate enough to build in last year. To see first hand how much impact we as volunteers can have on the lives of families living there is something I will carry close to my heart always. I went down with the intent to build a home and be a part of something bigger than myself but had no idea how much of an impact the community would have on me. Physically, emotionally and spiritually. I went down to help give families a home, and came back home with gifts from them that are immeasurable on my heart and in my mind. On my flight back home, I knew that it was not a matter of "if" I went back, but a matter of "when".
