I’m heading back to the Dominican Republic with LiveDifferent and our Building for Change team - an experience that continues to shape who I am. I’ve had the privilege of joining past Builds, working side by side with local families to create safe, secure homes and forming powerful bonds that stay with me long after the tools are packed up. Many of us can’t imagine life without basic necessities like a roof over our heads or clean water. For the family we’ll build alongside, this new home means safety, stability, and hope. LiveDifferent partners with local leaders to ensure the experience is grounded in respect, community, and lasting impact. For me, this is more than a Build. It’s about returning to a place and a purpose I care deeply about - reconnecting with the community, supporting a family’s future, and carrying forward the lessons of gratitude, generosity, and love.
