Many of us have no idea what it's like to live without a safe home and clean water. I started this fundraising campaign so that I, together with LiveDifferent, can make a difference for a family. Over spring break, I will be going to the Dominican Republic to help build a house for a family in need. This trip will leaving a lasting impact on the community and myself. LiveDifferent partners with local communities and families in the Dominican Republic, responsibly bringing volunteers and families together to share the experience of building a home. I am super excited for the opportunity to spend time with the family we will build alongside while learning all about them and their community. This campaign will help cover what is needed to make this trip possible, as well as materials, local labour, translators, and furniture for the home.
