Why I want to volunteer with LiveDifferent
It is a great privilege to live here in Vancouver, and that to be safe and housed. I know that often, as we are so used to it, many people tend to take this for granted. However, numerous people don’t have this privilege, which is why I am so excited to partner with LiveDifferent to make a difference in a family’s life!
I have done service trips before,volunteering at an animal reserve in Costa Rica, and staying with an Indigenous Guatemalan family. On this trip, I will be working with LiveDifferent and a group of volunteers to build a home for a local family, who we will also get to meet and work with!
