With anticipation we welcome your participation! Join us and help us, help them!!

Are you looking for an opportunity to spend 10 fabulous days in February on a building trip to the beautiful Baja, MX? Weather is usually sunny and warm, the work enjoyable and manageable AND the staff, food and accommodations at our residence are unbeatable!

Our Rotary Club has been partnering with Live Different in the Baja for the past five years, starting in the fall of 2015, when we built a home for a most deserving family of four (now five). Since that time, we have built a kindergarten (2016), partnered on a community centre build (2017), an adult education centre (2018) and a trade classroom for a local school (2019). Join us this year as we build for two beautiful families!

Hope to see you in February 2020. ~ Bill Rawlins

Preparation for your journey home
Your Live Different Build is going to be one of the most intense and life-changing experiences you will ever have. Because we believe that this is just the beginning of something for you, we want to help prepare you to return home and integrate this experience and the lessons learned. On this day we will have a final debriefing that will help you to take this experience and help others understand how we can continue to make a difference in our local and global communities.

Day 9

Drive up to San Diego, California. Stay over night.

Day 10

Fly home out of San Diego International Airport (SAN), California.

While volunteering in Mexico you will be staying at our Campus near Vicente Guererro. Rooms are dorm style, however, private accomodations can be arranged for families if needed.

Most volunteers choose to fundraise using their fundraising page. When you register for a Build, you will have the opportunity to create one too. Not everyone fundraises though, some choose to pay for their Build themselves.

We require that all volunteers arrange their own flights. Please be sure you are arriving at the destination on the first day of the build, as depending on your location some flight paths may require you to leave a day to two ahead of schedule. If you have any questions or would like to review your flight path with us before booking, please feel free to contact our office.
